Privacy Policy

Neutral.

Effective August 10, 2026

Neutral is a weekly budgeting app. It needs an account, because your budget follows you between devices and because you can share your week with friends. This page is the complete list of what that account holds.

What Neutral stores

That is the whole list. This data is stored in Neutral's database, hosted by Supabase, and is used only to run the app for you.

What friends can see

Adding a friend is mutual: both people have to accept before anything is shared. Once you are connected, a friend can see your current week and nothing else. That is your weekly budget, what you have spent this week, and how that spending was split across your categories.

A friend can never see your individual purchases or their notes, your paycheque, your monthly set-aside, your finished weeks, or who else you are friends with. That boundary is enforced by the database itself, not by the app, so there is no version of the app that could show them more.

What Neutral never does

Every number in Neutral is one you typed in yourself.

Data deletion

Open Settings in the app and tap Delete account. Your account and every category, purchase, week and friendship attached to it are erased immediately and permanently, with no backup copy kept afterwards. If you cannot reach the app, email noah.sealy8@gmail.com from the address on your account and it will be done for you.

Children

Neutral is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
