Neutral.
A weekly budget for iPhone

One number.
Every week.

Neutral turns your paycheque into a single weekly figure, takes what you owe every month off the top, and shows what is left. Monday comes and it starts over.

Money is arithmetic

Most people can do the arithmetic. They put off opening the app anyway, because somewhere along the way a number started to feel like a verdict on how they are doing.

A number is a measurement. It describes a week. It does not describe you, it does not remember last month, and it is not keeping score. Neutral is built to be opened calmly: one figure, stated plainly, with nothing in it that praises or scolds.

The bills come first

Your monthly expenses and savings come off a little every week, so the 1st is never a surprise and the money you see left is genuinely free to spend.

Level again on Monday

Every week starts at the same place. A good week is reported rather than hoarded, and a difficult one does not follow you into the next.

A blank sheet each day

Write down what you bought and nothing else. A category is an optional tag, for when you want to look back. That is the whole of the bookkeeping.

The week, in review

When a week closes, Neutral records what you spent and what was left over. Nothing is carried forward and nothing is swept away. It stays a number you simply got to see.

Budget alongside a friend

Share your week with someone who will notice. They see your budget, your categories, and how the week is going. They never see your balances, your paycheque, or where your money went. Both of you have to agree before anything is shared.

Your numbers stay yours
